The Letter of James, Chapter 5ΙΑΚΩΒΟΥ Ε′

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you held back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of the harvesters have entered the ears of the Lord of Hosts.

Μακροθυμήσατε οὖν, ἀδελφοί, ἕως τῆς παρουσίας τοῦ κυρίου. ἰδοὺ ὁ γεωργὸς ἐκδέχεται τὸν τίμιον καρπὸν τῆς γῆς, μακροθυμῶν ἐπʼ αὐτῷ ἕως λάβῃ πρόϊμον καὶ ὄψιμον.

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer awaits the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it until it receives the early and the late rain.
